Additional Services

EMDR Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy recommended by NICE for treating trauma and PTSD. It can also help with anxiety, depression, phobias, complicated grief, and other distressing experiences.

EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to help process traumatic memories while you remain grounded and safe in the present. We begin with stabilisation and resourcing before any trauma processing, always working at a pace that feels manageable for you.

Sessions typically last 60-90 minutes. Treatment can range from 8-12 sessions for single-incident trauma to longer for more complex issues. Throughout the process, you remain in control—fully alert, able to stop at any time.

Please note: EMDR availability is currently limited. For enquiries, please contact us directly.

Individual Supervision
COSCA-qualified supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists,
and other mental health professionals

Supervision is a joint endeavour. With the support of a supervisor, you attend to your clients, to yourself as part of the therapeutic relationship, and to the wider systemic context. Through this, you improve the quality of your work, transform your client relationships, and continuously develop yourself and your practice.

At Sea Change Therapies, we provide individual supervision for both qualified and student therapists of any modality, as well as other professionals working in mental health.

We facilitate reflection on:
  • The client's process
  • Your process as therapist
  • The therapeutic relationship itself
  • The wider professional and systemic context

Sessions: Available in 60 or 90-minute sessions via online video call,
in line with BACP requirements

(minimum 1.5 hours per month for registered counsellors, fortnightly for students).
Supervision creates space to explore challenges, celebrate growth, work through stuckness,
and deepen your understanding of yourself as a practitioner.
